UPLINK:ONLINE

 

We've been thinking about this for some time now, and we have some fairly good ideas on the gameplay and the technicalities of getting it to work. Fundamentally the aim of the project would be to make Uplink with multiplayer capabilities. This means groups of hackers can come together and co-operate to achieve some higher goal. It also means hackers can compete against other hackers. There are many different areas to this project - here are the sections we have given some thought to. Uplink Online is a truly massive undertaking, but it can't be denied that it would be fantastic fun.

It's worth mentioning that these are just ideas - none of this is set in stone. We don't even know if we'll be doing this stuff.
